A Call For Volunteers for the National Museum of the Morgan Horse

by By the American Morgan Horse Association | Jun 5, 2009, 4:35 PM

The National Museum of the Morgan Horse shares a building with the American Morgan Horse Association in picturesque Shelburne, VT. This non-profit organization is dedicated to educating the public about the Morgan horse. We collect, preserve and display original works of art and historical materials related to the Morgan breed. We also have a small library and research center that is open to researchers by appointment.

We currently are actively seeking volunteers for a number of ongoing projects in our archive and museum. Specifically we are interested in finding individuals willing to act occasionally in the role of Museum Attendant. Attendants open the museum, assist visitors, and run the museum gift shop. If you would like to receive training for this position, please contact us at (802) 985-8665.

The museum is open Wednesday through Friday from 10-3, and Saturday from 11-3.
