Equine Anatomy Course Offered Free Online Until 2011

by By Equinology | Jun 30, 2009, 9:28 AM

The Equine Anatomy Precourse Distance Study (EQ50) is now free online at www.equinology.com until 2011 to anyone wishing to broaden their knowledge of veterinary terminology and the musculoskeletal system of the horse.

The EQ50 online course is also the required precourse study guide used for Equinology's signature EQ100, EQ101 and EQ102 courses in Equine Body Worker certification. You will also find it very helpful if taking any other courses from any program, including Equinology’s courses in anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, saddle fitting and any other modality for horses.

Signing up for this course now allows you the luxury of studying well ahead of time if you intend to take courses in the future. With the expanded EQ50 Study Guide, we have determined it takes around 100 hours to complete.

The EQ50 course offers 50 continuing education hours for members of the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

If you are interesting in signing up for this course either register directly at www.equinology.com/info/course.asp?courseid=73 or write to Debranne Pattillo at [email protected].

You will then be sent the details for logging into the online Yahoo group through an invitation.

The material will be posted for download in PDF sections. A video to help you find the surface anatomy is also available for download once you are a member of the group. You will be able to talk amongst yourselves in the group and also ask questions. Debranne Pattillo will be monitoring the group should you have any questions for her directly in regards to the course material.

When you complete the course an exam will be emailed to you.

Equinology has a new server where students are able to upload their completed exams and other course externships to elimate the need to mail in their work.

A $15 charge is added to this free course to cover shipping and handling cost of certificates of completion for student's documentation within the USA. Those students residing outside the USA must tick the $25 box to cover the additional cost.
