Event: The High Roller Reining Classic, Benefiting the Equestrian Aid Foundation—September 4-12, 2009

What: The High Roller Reining Classic (HRRC) is the international "crown jewel" of western riding competition, and will feature the world's top reiners competing for over $200,000 in added money and prizes. The competition is managed and produced by Brumley Management Group, LLC, a promoter of reining competition in the western region of the United States. Reining is the only western sport recognized in the FEI World Equestrian Games, and this event is an FEI qualifier.

This NRHA "AA" rated event, with over $200,000 in added money and prizes promises to be the best Las Vegas and West Coast Reining Event in history. This level of purse and quality venue draws entries from across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The event will also feature the High Roller Reining Classic Poker Tournament on Thursday, September 10 at 8 p.m. The event will benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation and will feature 150 players vying for the top spot.

Where: The South Point Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, NV, is a one-of-a-kind hotel, casino and equestrian center resting on 60 acres at the southwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard, just minutes away form the Las Vegas Strip.

Driving Directions:
From California: Head North on Interstate 15 to Exit 31 (Silverado Ranch Boulevard). As you exit, stay right and make your first right into the parking area for South Point. The South Point is located at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

From the Rental Car Terminal at McCarren Airport: Head South on Gilespie St. toward E. Warm Springs Rd. Turn right on E. Warm Springs Rd. Then turn Left on Las Vegas Blvd.
South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa is on the right hand side of the road at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

To get to the equestrian center, go through the casino to the West wing. Head up the stairs, the exhibit halls are on the right hand side, and the arena is straight ahead.
