Congratulations to American Morgan Horse Association Morgan Open High-Point Award Winners

The Morgan Open High-Point Award is sponsored by the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and is available to open equestrian competitions around the country. Currently more than 150 events will be offering the award to competitors exhibiting with a registered Morgan.

Okan Crescent (Equinox Beaubrook x Okan Li'l Darling) won high-point Morgan at the Beavercreek CDE with Don Curtis at the reins. Don and his wife, Mary, of Oroville, WA, own this beautiful bay mare. The event was held in Beavercreek, OR, July 18-19.

At the Skunk River Driving Trial, R'Surene Xavier (Rapidan Fleetwing x R Surene Charmaine) and Coal Creek Dan (Caduceus Casanova x Coal Creek Taba Hawk) won high-point Morgan honors with owner/driver Barbara Simmons of Bellevue, NE. The event was held in Story City, IA, on June 27-28.

Terob Scarlet Pimpernel (Dragonfire x HVR Tar-U-Kay), along with owner/rider Catherine Parks, received Morgan high-point at the Silver Summer Series Show for high scores in the Hunter Seat division. The event was held at the Sacramento Horseman’s Association arena in Sacramento, CA, on July 16.

The WNYDA Summer Festival Dressage at Paduka Run I show was held on July 25. At the show, Raintree Sam I Am (Ultimate Command x Raintree Remembrance) was awarded with the Morgan high-point award. Jo Ann and Gary Ward of Scottsville, NY, own this black gelding.

At the WNYDA Summer Festival Dressage at Paduka Run II held July 26, CSCM Lady Jane (Corinthian Classic x Spring House Monica) was awarded high-point Morgan honors. She is owned and ridden by Kristen Sackett of Williamson, NY.

At the Sweet Rocks Stables Open Schooling Show, MSM Mason Dixon Classic (MSM Justice Command x Stormcrest Phaedra) was awarded with the Morgan high-point award. This lovely chestnut gelding is owned by Kristina Baldwin of Mellers, MD. The show was held on June 7 at Sweet Rocks Stables, Inc., Nostalgia Judicial Review and Macrina Cipa.

Nostalgia Judicial Review (MH Verdict x Angel Of Harlem) was awarded the Morgan high-point award at the HJDA Show II on July 19 at Justamere Equestrian Centre in Macomb, MI. Nostalgia Judicial Review was presented proudly by Macrina Cipa.

At the Open Horse & Benefit Show hosted by Rearin’ To Go 4-H Club, E R B Nakai Zena (Caduceus Nakai x Fletcher Sunkist) was honored as high-point Morgan. Zena is owned and ridden by Brittany Mullaney of Amsterdam, NY. The event was held at the 4-H Training Center in Ballston, NY.

W H Masai (Nairobi x Lady Ann Command), owned by Patricia West and shown by Patricia West and Alex Lewis, was awarded High-Score Morgan honors at the East Coast Open Horse Show. The event was held on June 20-21 in Williamstown, NC.
