The inaugural Morgan Weanling Gala is just weeks away, and organizers are expecting a great group of foals to compete Thursday evening, September 3, during the Jubilee Regional Morgan Horse Show in Springfield, IL. All 2009 foals by the following sires are eligible to compete in the event: Astronomicallee, Beethoven, Belalugosi, Bellerophon, Bocelli, Born to Boogie, Cartier, Centerpiece, Century Nightmusic, CCR's Outrajus Corajus, Favorite Son, Fifth Avenue Flaire, Grand Cru Dom Perignon, HollyBook Stage Rage, JW That Special Flaire, Man In Motion, MEM The Patriot, Minion Millennium, Mizrahi, MSV Shooting Star, Stonecroft Byzantine, Stonecroft Trilogy, Super Nova, Tara's Firewalker, Town Assets, and Ultra's Special Agent. Ken Swanson, Karen Homer-Brown and Scott Thacker will be officiating this year's competition.

"There is still time to make entries for the event," Chairman Larry Bolen stated. "Entries will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, September 2, but stabling arrangements must be made with Jubilee Show Manager Fred Nava ahead of time," Bolen added.
