International grand prix dressage rider and trainer Heather Blitz will be moving her training base to a new location in Loxahatchee, FL, on December 1, 2009. The popular rider has been based in Europe for the past three years and is now ready to return stateside to a new facility that will provide the opportunity to operate a training business alongside her riding career.

"I have had a wonderful time in Europe and have made many friends as well as some great clients, but the time has come for me to return home," said Blitz, who has frequently returned to the U.S. for her popular Mind Your Riding clinic tours. "I already have a number of clients who will be joining me, which is very exciting, and I'm looking forward to getting started with the new business," she added.

Blitz will be based near White Fences in Loxahatchee for the winter season and can be reached there from December 1, 2009 to April 2010. She will be bringing her six-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, Paragon, back to the U.S. to continue his training and begin competing. This partnership has developed into an exciting prospect for the future and she is thrilled with his progress.

"I think this will be a great move for Paragon and me to be exposed to competitions on the Florida circuit. He's turning into a very special horse, and it's important that I start his show career in the right environment," Blitz noted.
