The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that Louisville, KY, will once again play host to the USEF Annual Meeting. This event will take place January 13–17 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown,located at 280 West Jefferson Street. The hotel features 616 guest rooms and over 50,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. This four-diamond property offers contemporary design and unparalleled guest service. It provides pedway connection to Louisville’s bustling Fourth Street Live district. Take in the lively sports scene at Champion’s Sports Bar & Restaurant or delight in the sun-drenched cuisine of BLU Italian Mediterranean Grille, both located on the lobby level.

The USEF has secured a group rate of $129 for single or double occupancy, plus tax. For reservations, please call (800) 533-0127 or (502) 627-5045 and ask for the “USEF Meeting Rate.” The cut off date to receive this special rate is Friday,
December 11, 2009.

Registration for this year’s annual meeting is $75 per person. This includes all breakfast and lunch functions as well as registration materials. To register for the USEF Annual Meeting, please visit www.usef.org and click on the “Annual Meeting” icon located on the homepage. The deadline to get the discounted registration rate of $75 is December 18. Should you want to register on site, registration will be $100. Please note registration will close at the end of business on December 19 and reopen on site January 12 at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Pegasus and Horse of the Year Awards Receptions and Dinners are also available. The Horse of the Year Awards will take place on Friday, and the Pegasus Awards will take place Saturday. The practice of open seating will be observed, unless you decide to purchase an entire table of 10.

The Silver Stirrup Awards will be presented on Thursday evening, January 14. Tickets are not required to attend this event as it is included in your registration fee. We hope that you will plan to attend and support the winners.
