Lassergut Reine, bred and born in the United States and registered, inspected, and branded with the American Warmblood Registry qualified for and competed in the 2009 FEI/World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) World Championships for Young Eventing Horses (Mondial du Lion) Le Lion d’Angers in France held October 15–18, 2009.

Lassergut Reine, now owned by Benoît Debrus of Belgium, was ridden by Eric Vigeanel of France and successfully completed the three days, finishing in the money. This was her first ride with a professional rider.

Lassergut Reine is now being prepared for the 2012 London Olympics. Debrus is very hopeful she will qualify.
