by Equine Canada | Jan 11, 2010, 2:36 PM

Equine Canada is pleased to announce that three FEI Para-Dressage courses will be held in conjunction with the WindReach International Para-Dressage CPEDI3*, which is being held May 28–30, 2010 in Ashburn, ON, and we are pleased to invite individuals from your National Federation to participate.

An FEI para-dressage judge course, an FEI para-dressage steward course, and an FEI para-dressage classifier course will be offered onsite at the event. The courses promise to provide a wealth of information for current and aspiring officials who are interested in augmenting their skills and knowledge of officiating within the para-dressage sport. Each course will combine classroom and practical learning to enhance the experience of the attendees.

The WindReach International Para-Dressage CPEDI3* event will act as an official qualifier for the 2010 World Equestrian Games, and will draw athletes from all over the world.

The event takes its name from WindReach Farm, the 109-acre property that will host the three-day event, located northeast of downtown Toronto in Ashburn, ON. The farm was the life-long dream of founder Sandy Mitchell, an equestrian enthusiast born with cerebral palsy, and is designed to cater specifically to individuals with disabilities.

As course sizes are limited, interested individuals are encouraged to register at their earliest convenience through Irena Seifert, Para-Equestrian program coordinator by e-mail at: [email protected] or telephone at: 613-248-3433 ext. 143.
