Stadium Jumping, Inc., one of the nation's leading horse show production companies, is pleased to announce the official dates of the 2010 Tampa Equestrian Festival and 38th Annual $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational. The world's top equestrians will come together for three weeks of competition, held from March 24-April 10, 2010, at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL.

The Tampa Equestrian Festival will kick-off its three weeks of competition with the Suncoast Internationale that is scheduled for March 24-28, 2010. It will be followed by the Tampa Bay Classic CSI**-W, which begins on March 31 and runs thru April 4. The final week of the festival is the Tournament of Champions CSI, which will be held March 31-April 4.

The 38th Annual $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational will be the highlight event on the final day of competition, April 10, at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Thirty of the world's top horses and riders will gather to compete under the lights during one of the premiere show jumping events in the United States.

There will be numerous other feature classes during the Tampa Equestrian Festival. The second week of competition, the Tampa Bay Classic, will include the $30,000 Tampa Bay Welcome Stake on Thursday, April 1, and the $50,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier CSI**-W Grand Prix of Tampa on Sunday, April 4. This will be the final qualifying event for the 2010 World Cup Finals in Geneva, Switzerland.

During the final week, the Tournament of Champions, the $30,000 Grand Prix of Florida CSI will be held on Wednesday, April 7, in addition to the $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational.

The show will also feature three weeks of 'AA' rated hunter competition with some of the top hunter horses and riders in the nation. The Tampa Bay Classic is a World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) recognized hunter competition. The WCHR is an awards program started by the American Hunter-Jumper Foundation, and the awards are presented, on both a national and regional level, to pony, junior, amateur, professional, adult and children's hunter riders who accumulate the most points at WCHR-designated horse shows throughout the year.

During the Tampa Bay Classic, Stadium Jumping, Inc., will host a $5,000 WCHR Handy Hunter Classic. This exciting event will feature the nation's top hunters, as they compete during the evening in the Covered Arena on Saturday, April 3, 2010.
