In 2009, Nancy Holwesko of Crosiadore Farm in Trappe, MD, presented a number of excellent foals and mares to the Oldenburg Horse Breeders' Society, and in the end she was honored by having both the top mare and top foal of the 2009 North American Inspection Season. The mare, Fiderline, who she bought at the 2006 Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction in Vechta, Germany, had the highest scores of any mare at the two Mare Performance Tests held in 2009 in Maryland and California. The Deputy Breeding Director of the German Oldenburg Verband, Katrin Burger, commented that Fiderline would be very competitive with the best mares in Germany.

Holwesko's colt, Quote Unquote, was also outstanding. He is sired by Quaterback, and is out of Nancy's mare, Florenzio (by Florencio), who was the top mare of the 2008 inspection season. He is an exceptional type, and has three incredible gaits. This year, since there was a large debate between two colts, the committee decided to also give an honorable mention to the second colt they had been discussing. He was Redhawk's Don Sargasso (Don Schufro), bred and owned by Bob and Lynn De Gour of Redhawk Ranch in California.
