Dogs Permitted at the Kentucky Horse Park

Kentucky Horse Shows, LLC, a premiere horse show management company, would like to clarify that dogs will be permitted at the Kentucky Horse Park in 2010. Contrary to earlier speculation that dogs would not be permitted on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park this show season because of veterinary protocol relating to the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™, the Kentucky Horse Park's Special Events Department has declared that there will be no change in the dog policy, and that dogs will be permitted on the premises while on a leash until September 9, 2010. From September 9 through October 16, 2010 no dogs will be permitted on the grounds of the Horse Park.

"Almost every equestrian has a dog, and we understand how important it is to have your animal with you at a show," commented Kentucky Horse Shows, LLC, Manager Hugh Kincannon. "We want our exhibitors to be excited about the events we are hosting in 2010, and they can feel confident that their dog is welcome at the Kentucky Horse Park."

Kentucky Horse Shows, LLC, will be hosting the Kentucky Spring Horse Shows, the Kentucky Summer Horse Shows, the Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships Presented by Gotham North, the USEF Junior Hunter National Championship-East Coast, the USEF National Pony Finals, and the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show during the 2010 season.
