This weekend you can see the precision and grace of dressage, endurance and speed of cross country and the power and agility of show jumping at the Jersey Fresh CCI***/CCI** Three-Day Event, May 11-15, 2005, at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown. Attendees will be able to walk the course as the riders do, shop at the many vendors and watch the competitors and horses go through their paces. Become a patron and enjoy special hospitality, parties and box seats for the dressage and jumping phases.
The event includes United States Equestrian Federation/United States Eventing Association-recognized divisions, which include the CCI*** without the Steeplechase (excluding phases A, B and C) and the CCI** with the Steeplechase. The event is a USEA Endorsed/USEA Recognized Test for young horses of ages four and five years old.
The 147-acre Horse Park of New Jersey in Stone Tavern in Monmouth County involves land that was purchased by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection with Green Acres funds. The Horse Park features 276 stalls, two 150’ x 300’ arenas, a 140’ x 280’ permanent, lighted schooling ring, a 190’ x 360’ grand prix and carriage dressage arena, a 150’ x 300’ indoor arena, a 90’ x 150’ dressage warm-up arena, a camping facility, handicapped mounting ramps, and facilities for other events, such as auctions and clinics. These facilities sit on 40 of the 147 acres, with the rest of the land being left as fields and wooded areas for the event course and carriage fields.
