U.S. Team Announced for Second Leg of 2005 Samsung Super League

Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation has announced the team for the second European show jumping tour—a series of three international competitions, including a stop on the 2005 Samsung Super League circuit. This team will compete in the Super League competition at CSIO Rotterdam, The Netherlands (June 16 – 19); CSIO Lummen, Belgium (June 30 –July 3) and CSIO Falsterbo, Sweden (July 7 – 10).

The team members are listed below in alphabetical order.

Candice King of Wellington, FL, with Coco Cabana;10-year-old Westfalen mare (Cantus de 321 – Granda) owned by Louisburg Farm, and Verelst Camillo V; 10-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Calando I de – Unknown) owned by the Camillo Group.

Todd Minikus of Loxahatchee, FL, with Flier; 13-year-old Warmblood gelding (Suicouf de Revel – Neibka) owned by Harry Gill, and Gardenio; 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Graf Grannus – Prinzess) owned by YZ Partners, LLC.

Callan Solem of Colt’s Neck, NJ, with Allison; 13-year-old Warmblood mare owned by Quiet Winter Farm and Barbara Maghan, and Mianta; 11-year-old Warmblood mare (Hemmingway – Hianta) owned by Quiet Winter Farm and Redfield Farm).

Christine Tribble of Wellington, FL, with Vegas; 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood stallion (Voltaire – Dulisina) owned by Candy Tribble, and Promised Land; 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Candy Tribble and Windsor Show Stables.

Aaron Vale of Aiken, SC, with Artur 28; 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Acord II – Gamong) owned by Millstream, and Ratina 79; 10-year-old mare (Ramiro Z – Unkonwn) owned by Hollow Creek Investments.

Alternate riders will be Nona Garson of Lebanon, NJ and Robin Sweely of Madison, VA.

Leading the U.S. team as Chef d’Equipe during this second round will be one of the world’s most respected trainers and coaches, former international show jumping star George Morris.
