Wilhelm Genn Captures $30,000 Grand Prix Presented by Houston Area Audi Dealers at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show

Wilhelm Genn does it again! German-born Genn is basking in victory as he and his 11-year-old gelding horse, Chantal, took home the blue ribbon in the $30,000 Grand Prix Presented by Houston Area Audi Dealers at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show. Saturday night's competition was tough. The Stadium was packed with cheering fans who not only enjoyed the beautiful ride of Chantal, but the other winners, including second-place winner Tracy Fenney on MTM Centano; third-place Frank Van Helmond on Veneur; fourth-place Tony Font on Carmen; fifth-place Denise Wilson on Life is Life 15; sixth-place Tracy Fenney on MTM Timon; seventh-place Andres Torres Hernandez on Libero; and eighth-place John Perez on Twister La Cantera.

Those enjoying the Grand Prix were Franco Valobra, BBVA Compass' Rick Terry, Mindy and Jeff Hildebrand, Hollis Grace, Eva and Beau Bisso and Lynn Walsh, among others.

Immediately following the Houston Area Audi Dealer Grand Prix, guests danced the night away until the wee hours of the morning and celebrated the success of the show at the afterparty hosted by the Great Southwest Equestrian Center.

The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show concluded on Sunday and marks the end of the 65th year of equestrian excellence and philanthropic support. Many thanks go to all of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show supporters, volunteers and staff who made this year such a smashing success.
