by By Whitney Allen | May 5, 2010, 3:52 PM

The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) Level II Training Sessions are right around the corner. Notifications will go out in early July to the riders who have been accepted into the Level II sessions. The first Level II session of the year will be hosted by J Bar J Boys Ranch in Bend, OR, July 26-27, with clinician Callan Solem.

Selection for the 2010 Level II sessions and the Level III National Training Camp is based on riding skills, general impression of potential, overall horsemanship and written test scores as determined during rider evaluations.

The Level III National Training Camp will be held November 19-21 at the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center in Buffalo, NY. Contact Kelley at BTRC for more information about auditing the training session at (716) 877-9295.

USHJA members are encouraged to audit the Level II Training Sessions or the Level III National Training Camp. If interested, contact Melanie Fransen, USHJA Director of Programs and Education, or the location host of the training session for information on the registration fee. Visit the EAP website for the Level II schedule.
