Each year, the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equus Scholar written-test competition honors a horse that has been an outstanding performer at the National Horse Show. In 2010, IHSA recognized Case In Point, generously loaned by Cazenovia College in multiple years.

Known to all in the IHSA as Casey, Case in Point spent 12 years at Cazenovia College. During her tenure, she participated in the IHSA Nationals in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2006. Her career highlights included wins in three classes in 2005, as well as classes in 2002 and 2001. She even tested against herself for Champion and Reserve Champion in Atlanta with scores of 89 and 90.

Casey of Cazenovia College truly embodied the spirit of the American Thoroughbred and quintessential IHSA horse.
