Two FEI Children’s International Jumping Qualifiers to be at Los Angeles- and Colorado-Based Shows

by By the Langer Equestrian Group | May 26, 2005, 10:39 AM

Langer Equestrian Group, Inc., will host two FEI Children’s International Jumping Qualifiers in 2005. The Colorado Summer Classic at the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, CO, will take place July 20-24, and the Los Angeles International Jumping Festival at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, CA, will take place September 21-25. These two events will serve as two of the United States’ qualifiers for riders 12-14 (FEI age).

The Federation Equestrian International introduced the Children’s International Jumping Final in 1995 to encourage and promote riders on the younger spectrum of the sport of show jumping. The event has proven to be enormously popular and only the top 32 riders based on qualifying competitions held all over the world may attend this event. 2005 will be only the third time the United States has hosted this exciting event, and for the second time David and Suzanne Sapperstein will throw open their Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, CA, to the show jumping children of the world from November 21-27, 2005.

The Colorado Summer Classic and the Los Angeles International Jumping Festival are both highly regarded shows that regularly attract jumper competitors. Children’s Jumper riders from throughout the West Coast and the mid-West will be eyeing these two qualifying competitions as rider’s must complete two qualifying competitions.
