Lexington, KY - For the fourth consecutive year Georgina Bloomberg's Gotham North will be the presenting sponsor of the Adequan® FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships.

Bloomberg is one of the country's top young jumping riders and was a two-time Gold medalist at the NAJYRC, winning Individual Gold in 2003 and Team Gold in 2002. Since 1979 these championships have showcased the best riders between the ages of 14 and 21.

Championship medals are awarded to Junior and Young Rider individuals and teams in four disciplines: Dressage, Eventing, Reining and Show Jumping.

Like so many NAJYRC champions Bloomberg has gone on to represent the US in International competition, and has won major classes on both sides of the Atlantic.

"Being able to compete in the NAJYRC is still one of the most memorable and exciting experiences of my career in show jumping" said Bloomberg, now 27. "The Championships provide a great learning experience for young riders to feel what it is like to represent your country, to ride on a team and to understand the pressures of a championship format. I hope that this program can go on throughout the years to nurture and provide the experience for many talented young riders. I believe it is one of the most important events held for equestrians on this continent and provides the experience for riders to go on to be successful at the higher levels - whatever their discipline."

The 2010 Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North will take place July 28 -August 1 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
