Founder and Manager of Alabama Charity Championship Horse Show, Charles Byron, Passes Away

Lexington, Kentucky - Charles Byron, of Hartselle, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 following a chronic illness, at the age of 79.

Byron was the Founder and Manager of the Alabama Charity Championship Horse Show and had also managed other major shows across the Southeast including St. Louis Charity, Germantown Charity, Mid-South Spring Premier, and Pro Am. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet, three daughters and two grandchildren. Details on the arrangements to follow as soon as they become available.

The family invites everyone to a Memorial Celebration on Saturday, August 14 from 4 PM to 7 PM at The Hampton House, 2700 Hampton Cove Way SE, Hampton Cove, Alabama. Hotel accommodations are available at the Hampton Inn on Hwy 431 South, (256) 532-2110.
