Lexington, Kentucky - The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA), in conjunction with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) this year, will once again be providing live streaming video of the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show (WCHS) from Louisville's Freedom Hall, beginning Sunday, August 22, through Saturday, August 28.

The class schedule, up to date entries, results, plus the action from each class inside the ring, are all part of the WCHS online experience, available at www.ashalive.net. ASHA's daily publication, American Saddlebred Daily, which features show results, photos, and various editorial containing news and Saddlebred related activities during Kentucky State Fair, will also be available online. Access the class schedule, entries, results, ASHA news, and each issue of American Saddlebred Daily from ASHALive.

Several notable technology enhancements have also been implemented, in an effort to improve the viewing experience for ASHALive Webcast subscribers. We now have the capability to stream video to a wide range of broadband connections, slow, medium, or fast. Viewers should also notice an upgrade to the visual appearance of the live streaming video.

Licenses to view the ASHALive Webcast are available for purchase at www.ashalive.net. The viewing fee is $12 per day/location through Thursday, August 26, and $17 per day/location for Friday and Saturday, August 27 and 28. A discount is available to ASHA members, resulting in reduced fees of $10 per day/location through Thursday, and $15 per day/location, on Friday and Saturday.

There is also a discounted package purchase available for $85 if all days are purchased at once. ASHA members can receive even further discounts on this package, taking the total price for all days to $70. The license purchased to view the ASHALive Webcast is exclusive to each location and computer on which it is purchased. Essentially this means that viewers must view the webcast on the same computer at the same location each time.
Credit or debit card payment is accepted online. A broadband, DSL or cable modem Internet connection is required for viewing. A dial-up Internet connection will not be sufficient. There will also be a help page available on the video page, providing answers to frequently asked questions. The video feed for the ASHALive Webcast is provided courtesy of the Kentucky State Fair, Richfield Video and USEF.
