Murfreesboro, TN - October 6, 2010. The National Academy Championship Horse Show will hold it’s annual competition of riders October 29-31 with all proceeds benefiting the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. This is a 3-day, 3-round event with 3-judges to be held at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, TN. Prizes for the four divisions, Saddleseat, Western, Driving and Huntseat total $12,900 in U.S. Savings Bonds. Additionally a $1,000 Scholarship to William Woods University will be awarded along with dozens of trophies and hundreds of ribbons. Academy riders of all ages, instructors, family, friends and fans from all over the nation are expected to attend this event.

The National Academy Championship Horse Show was inspired by the love of children and horses in 1999 by Joyce Webster of B& W Stables in Hartselle, Alabama. Mrs. Webster decided to create the National Academy Championship Horse Show and give all the proceeds to St. Jude's to help children with life threatening diseases.

“Since the show’s inception we’ve proudly donated over $100,000 to St. Jude’s and made thousands of young riders happy as they displayed their skills in front of thousands and all for a great cause”, said Mrs. Webster.
