Ocala, FL - HITS, Inc., is pleased to announce that the 2011 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit will mark the company's 30th anniversary of its popular Florida Winter Circuit. In anticipation of this important milestone, the 2011 season is shaping up with exciting news and improvements, staying dedicated to its honored tradition of providing the best value in show jumping.

The 2011 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit kicks off with two weeks of competition starting with the Ocala January Classic, January 19-23, and the Ocala January Festival, January 26-30, followed by six consecutive weeks of AA-rated competition that will run from February 8-March 20.

Over the course of its 30-year history, the HITS Winter Circuit in Florida has become the destination of choice for equestrians seeking variety, comfort and value in their winter show schedule. No other circuit on the East Coast offers the breadth and depth of classes and divisions for exhibitors across the skill spectrum, from short-stirrup all the way through high performance.

HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, FL, is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and spacious show facilities in the country and provides riders with ample space for stabling, competing, training and riding all within the same property. Permanent stabling at HITS Ocala is in high demand thanks to 22 charming permanent barns spread throughout the facility, while tents provide an additional 2,000 stalls when needed. Post Time Farm also boasts lovely furnished condos and a number of houses available for rent, located on and around the show grounds, and nearly 100 permanent turnout paddocks.

When it comes to value, no other winter show offers better rates for stabling, feed and bedding, paddocks, RV spaces and VIP services. Generous series and circuit discounts provide additional incentives for exhibitors who spend the season at HITS Ocala.

"HITS Ocala is one of our favorite places to show," said Tracy Fenney of Flower Mound, TX. Fenney and her husband, Mike McCormick, own and operate MTM Farm. Last winter, Fenney and her mount MTM Timon took home the big win in the 2010 $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group. "The show grounds are quite pretty; there is plenty of room to ride your horses, lots of nice paddock space, and everything is still located close enough so it's not difficult to get from the barns to the show ring. The rings and the footing are well kept, and it's a great place to show young horses."

As well as beautiful show grounds and unbeatable value for winter showing, HITS Ocala will be an important stop on this year's road to the $1 Million Grand Prix and the all-new $500,000 HITS 3'3" Hunter Prix Final, which will take place the weekend of September 10-11 at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, NY.

HITS Ocala will offer 14 qualifying grand prix classes for the $1 Million Grand Prix. A $25,000 HITS Grand Prix will be offered during each of the January shows. During the rated circuit there will be a $25,000 HITS Grand Prix every Thursday and a $50,000 Grand Prix each Sunday of Weeks I-V. The grand finale of the season will culminate with the annual $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group, on Sunday, March 20.

Fenney is sure to be one of several high performance riders looking to use the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit to get an early jump on qualifying for another try at the million.

"Everyone there last year was pretty excited about the million," Fenney added. "It's a competitive show, and we spend the whole winter there."

Earlier this week HITS, Inc. announced plans to host the unprecedented $500,000 HITS 3'3" Hunter Prix Final the same weekend as the $1 Million Grand Prix. HITS Ocala will feature five qualifying Devoucoux Hunter Prix with prize money at $5,000 for Weeks I and III, and $10,000 Weeks II, IV and V, providing hunters with plenty of chances to get an early lead on qualifying for this unimaginable hunter finale.

The return of the $1 Million Grand Prix and the debut of the $500,000 HITS 3'3" Hunter Prix Final has sent waves of excitement throughout the industry, engaging riders from both disciplines to make it one of their competition goals for the 2011 show season to qualify for these epic events.

As always, HITS Ocala features an on-site education center with top-notch tutoring to help students from elementary to high school level stay on track with their school curriculum. On the fun side, a full schedule of special events adds excitement to the season for all with fun activities like Kid's Day to the always popular HITS Ocala Star Search Party.

To complete the experience, through relationships with its Official Lodging Partners, HITS has negotiated great rates at every price point for exhibitors at many of the top hotels in the area. HITS Ocala's preferred Dining Partners will be serving up delicious brunches each week in the all new Overlook VIP Club.
