Lexington, KY - The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is now accepting entries for the 2010 Pegasus Media Awards. Bronze Pegasus statues will be presented in four categories to honor outstanding achievements in the coverage of equestrian sport, issues or lifestyle in the United States.
This year's categories include:
• Publication of the Year
• Affiliate Publication of the Year
• Single Article
• Photograph
One of these top four winners will be selected to receive the Daniel P. Lenehan Memorial Trophy for Overall Excellence. In addition, one winner will be selected from all mainstream press to receive the 2010 President's Award for Media Excellence.
USEF will accept completed nominations at its Lexington, KY, office through 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3. Entries received after close of business on that day will be returned. PDF files may be submitted digitally in the Single Article category only. There is no fee to enter.
The 2010 Pegasus Awards for Media will be presented formally during the President's Luncheon at the United States Equestrian Federation Annual Meeting on January 22, 2011, in Lexington, KY.
