U.S. riders in Paris, France had a very successful week at the Gucci Masters, which featured a CSI1*, CSI2* and CSI5*. In the CSI1* Terri Anne Kessler and Katherine Dinan notched several wins over the weekend. Kessler and Ice d'Ancoeur won the Prix Artemide, Prix Eads and the Eurodocument Grand Prix 1.15m classes. With Swiss Franc, Kessler was second in the Prix Artemide 1.25m class. Dinan and Major De La Mare picked up wins in the Prix Eads and the Eurodocument Grand Prix 1.25m classes. In the CSI2*, Reed Kessler was third with Onisha in the Gucci Masters 1.35m class, with Mika she was third in the Prix Hyatt 1.45m class and won the Land Rover Grand Prix. In the CSI5* Laura Kraut and Cedric were fourth in the 1.50m Gucci by Gucci Challenge and Lauren Hough and Quick Study were fourth in the Gucci Grand Prix.

At the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center competition got under way with the Holidays and Horses Show. Kent Farrington and Up Chiqui kicked off the weekend with a win in the $10,000 Open Stake. The following day Hilary Dobbs took the win in the $30,000 Holiday and Horses Opener Grand Prix aboard Corlett. In the feature class of the weekend, the $50,000 FEI World Cup Grand Prix, Charlie Jayne and Athena came in second behind Brazil's Paulo Santana and Taloubet; Kate Levy and Lirving du Volsin were third.
