Wayne, IL - December 5, 2010 - Showplace Productions is proud to announce the commencement of the 2010-2011 Ledges Winter Series, with 10 shows spanning from December to April at Ledges Sporting Horses in Roscoe, IL.

Ledges offers a great respite from the typical Midwest winter with a 72,000-square-foot heated indoor facility and designated trailer parking lot. In addition to 275 stalls, there are also two viewing sky decks, boasting vendors, office space, concessions, and an enclosed viewing area. The 200'x86' indoor competition ring stands adjacent to a 100'x86' warm up area; after competing, horses can enjoy washing racks with abundant hot water.

The Winter Series offers a vast array of top-rated classes in hunters, equitation, and jumpers for all riders from pony to professional. NAL, WIHS, and Marshall & Sterling classics are awarded each week in both Child and Adult hunter and jumper divisions. Every show also hosts $1000 Hunter Classics in Pony, Junior, Amateur/Owner, and Open Hunter divisions, with an additional $500 Pre-Green Classic.

Riders looking to hone their equitation skills can contest any IHJA Medal or Mini-Medal in the Pony, Child, Adult, or Junior divisions any week. Ledges is also proud to offer USEF Pony and Junior Medals, Washington Pony and Junior Equitation, Maclay, and USEF Platinum Performance Show Jumping Talent Search Medal qualifiers every event in the Winter Series. Moreover, child equitation riders will battle every show for the Taylor Harris National Children's Medal awards.

Classics in the Low Child/Adult, Modified Child/Adult, Low Junior/Amateur-Owner, and Junior/Amateur-Owner jumper divisions will be staples of the Series as well. Showplace is happy to announce every week the $2500 Junior/Amateur-Owner Classic will count towards the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame series.

With the help of its many sponsors, Showplace Productions has made Ledges Sporting Horses the hottest place to show during cold Midwest winters.
