Lincoln, NE – The Dressage Foundation is pleased to announce that Meagan Davis of Stone Ridge, NY, has been awarded a $4,500 grant to further her dressage education overseas. Meagan and her horse, Bentley, currently are competing in Germany at the FEI Young Rider Dressage World Cup. Following the competition, Meagan will use the grant to train with Hubertus Schmidt for four to six weeks.

Meagan said, "Dressage training and riding is my passion and will be my career. This is an incredible training opportunity that will further my education and advance Bentley. The knowledge I will gain from this experience will also benefit my students, the kids that I coach at Lendon Gray's Youth Dressage Festival, the Dressage 4 Ponies Clinic riders, as well as the horses I train."

The Dressage Foundation, founded in 1989, is proud to offer grants and scholarships to dressage enthusiasts at all levels, from young riders, to adult amateurs, to high performance.

"The Foundation is pleased to award this grant to Meagan and Bentley," said Jenny Johnson, Administrative Manager of The Dressage Foundation. "We are confident that they will make the most of the training with Hubertus Schmidt, and will share the experience with others when they return."
