U.S. Team Announced for Third Leg of 2005 Samsung Super League

Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation has announced the team for the third European show jumping tour—a series of three stops on the 2005 Samsung Super League circuit. This team will compete at CSIO Hickstead, Great Britain (July 28-31), CSIO Dublin, Ireland (August 3-7) and CSIO Aachen, Germany (August 23-28).

The team members are listed below in alphabetical order:

Laura Kraut of Oconomowoc, WI, with Miss Independent (1997 Dutch Warmblood mare; owned by Passmore Stables LLC)

Beezie Madden of Cazenovia, NY, with Authentic (1995 KWPN Dutch Warmblood gelding; owned by Team Authentic)

Kim Prince of Hume, VA, with Marlou (1994 KWPN Dutch Warmblood mare; owned by Windmill Ranch LLC)

McLain Ward of Brewster, NY, with Sapphire (1995 Belgian Warmblood mare; owned by McLain Ward, Missy Clark and Double H Farm)

Jeffery Welles of Ridgefield, CT, with Armani (1995 Selle Francais/Dutch Warmblood gelding; owned by Triton Ventures and Kimmel Yeager Equine LLC)


Leading the U.S. team as Chef d’Equipe will be one of the world’s most respected trainers and coaches, former international show jumping star George Morris.
