AMHA Convention Features Nationally Known Presenters

Boston, MA- Several nationally accomplished presenters will be leading clinics and seminars at the 2011 AMHA Convention, which will take place February 23-26 in Boston, MA.

Among the speakers are:

• Eitan Beth-Halachmy, the founder of Western Dressage, who will give a talk on this new discipline.
• Carriage driver Jeff Morse will lead a talk on how carriage driving is a perfect discipline for older equestrians.
• World champion trainer, Steve DeBolt, will give a harness demonstration/clinic.
• Learn how to ride with confidence and handle fear with Dr. Jenny Susser of Power & Performance Sport Psychology Service.
• Bob Brooks will discuss the development of the Morgan Horse Judging Standards.

Several seminars on equine health with leading experts in their fields will be offered. Also included this year is a slate of world and national winning trainers available to help train the amateur in a variety of disciplines for the Morgan show ring.

More Farm Tours Offered at AMHA Convention
Planning on arriving early for the AMHA Convention? An informal guided bus tour of three outstanding Morgan facilities located in the greater Boston area is slated to take place on February 22.

The AMHA Annual Convention New England Morgan Horse Farm Bus Tour, hosted and sponsored by the Massachusetts Morgan Horse Association, will leave the Boston Park Plaza at 9 a.m., arriving at the first stop: Ann Anderson's Hobby Knoll Stables by 10 a.m. Upon departing Hobby Knoll, the bus will travel to Timber Hill Stables, where Christine Nava and company will put on a demonstration. After completing the stay at Timber Hill Farm, it's lunch time and the bus will stop enroute to Townshend Farm, our last stop on a busy day of farm tours. Townshend Farm is the anchor for the tour, representing more than 70 years of Morgan history. The tour will arrive back in Boston around 4 p.m.
