Al Sol Show: Andalusian, Lusitano, P.R.E. and Friesian Horse Breed Show and Open to All Breeds Dressage Show

Newberry, FL - Equus Arts LLC is proud to present the al Sol Show to be held March 18-20, 2011, at Canterbury Showplace located in Newberry, FL. This show, now in its third year, is held during the height of the Florida winter show season. In addition to Andalusian, Lusitano, P.R.E. and Friesian breed classes the show offers a Level 2 Open to ALL Breeds Dressage show during the same weekend.

The two competitions are licensed by both the United States Equestrian Federaion (USEF) and the United States Dressage Foundation (USDF) with the breed show approved by the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA), the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse and the International Friesian Sport Horse Association (IFSHA).

Added to the class offerings this year will be Open to All Breeds USEF Opportunity Classes and the English Pleasure Division classes, and as in last year’s show, USDF Opportunity Tests. Back by popular demand, the show will be held back to back with the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse Fiesta Florida Show beginning on March 15, 2011, with inscription and revision for Spanish horses. A number of seminars are scheduled during the show with exhibitors treated to lunch and dinner thanks to wonderful show sponsors. Friday, March 18, finds the Honorable Spanish Judge Coronel Jose Maria Fernandez Olmedo presenting a talk on the Morphology of the Pure Spanish Hors, followed by Jean White’s presentation on the new and exciting discipline of Working Equitation here in the US.

Saturday, after the conclusion of the breed show classes, Tina Cristiani Veder and Bruno Gonzalez, of Caballos de los Cristiani and New Dawn Equestrian, will present Considerations in Training an Iberian Horse for Dressage.
