Jumping

The final Grand Prix of the HITS Ocala show season resulted in a resounding win by Kent Farrington, who ended up finishing first and second and with three horses in the top five. Farrington stormed to the win in the $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group on Top Gun to give himself a clear victory over his second-placed horse: Uceko. Both flashy grey horses jumped two clear rounds for Farrington, Top Gun was faster by more than a second. Andre Thieme was third on Coco 135.

Three hours south in Wellington, FL Mario Deslauriers rebounded from an uncharacteristic performance with Urico two weeks ago to finish a close second behind Great Britain's Nick Skelton in the $78,000 Pennfield Feeds Grand Prix, CSI 2*. Seven horse and rider combinations went through to the jump-off and Skelton rode Big Star to victory by less than a second on the grass field at The Stadium at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival.
