PC Sliderina For Me and Cortesi Lead Level 3 and 4 Non Pro Futurity

Kreuth, Germany – More than 50 horses were shown in the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) European Futurity Non Pro go round today. The Level 4 and 3 Non Pro competition was dominated by PC Sliderina For Me with Manuel Cortesi (ITA) in the saddle. The 18-year-old was one of many brilliant Italian riders in this field. He rode PC Sliderina For Me (Dualin For Me x The Slide Suprise) to the Italian Reining Horse Association Level 4 Non Pro Futurity Championship last year and placed third in the NRHA Germany Breeder’s Futurity Non Pro Level 4 division. The two scored a 216.5 here today. The mare was bred by Piero Cortesi and was trained by Manuel.

Two horses tied for second place in the Level 4 and Level 3 go round scoring a 216: Quick Chex To Cash (Big Chex To Cash x Chic Dot Com) under Manuel Bonzano (ITA) and Miss Cinderella Star (Whizard Jac x Miss Kilo Star) with Tina Künstner - Mantl (AUT) in the saddle. Tina who was NRHA World Reserve Champion Non Pro already, also rode her second horse Nu Chexomatic to fourth place in the Level 4 Non Pro (215.5) tying with Claudio Risso and his RS Shadow Olena.

In the Level 1 and Level 2 Non Pro, RS Range On Jack and Silvia Panza (Score 217.0) lead. Claudio Risso bred the mare by RS Oregon N Jack and out of NMSU Bonitas Jo. MTK Boop (Mr Tori Kid x Planet Boop) with Karl Rinner (ITA) and ARC Freck Enterprise (ARC Oak Enterprise x Freckled Boots) and Matteo Benedusi (ITA) marked a 215 to tie for second place in the Level 2 and Level 1 Non Pro standings.

FINALS AND CONSOLATION - The finals for the $64,000 added Non Pro Futurity will be held on Friday night (Level 1 and Level 2) and Saturday night (Level 3 and Level 4). The top 15 scores, plus ties, from the first go have qualified for the Level 4 Non Pro division final. The next 15 scoring entries, plus ties, qualified for Wednesday’s consolation class. Then the top 5 scores, plus ties, from the consolation class qualify for the Level 4 Non Pro finals.

The top 10 scores from each of the Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1 Non Pro are qualified for their respective finals. The next 10 scoring entries in each level, plus ties, are qualified for Wednesday’s consolation class. Then the top 5 scores, plus ties, from the consolation class qualify for their respective finals.

FINALS SCHEDULE - Friday’s schedule includes and Level and Level 2 Non Pro finals starting at 2:30 p.m. with the Level 1 and Level 2 Open finals commencing at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Level 3 and Level 4 Non Pro finals begin at 2 p.m. and the Level 3 and Level 4 Open finals follow at 6 p.m.

ANCILLARY ACTION - The NRHA European Futurity & NRHA Show offers a full slate of Category 1 classes for Open and Non Pro riders. Tomorrow’s classes include ancillary competition in the $500 added Limited Open, $3,500 added Intermediate Non Pro and $5,000 added Intermediate Open.
