The Kentucky Summer Horse Show will feature two exciting highlight events, including the $40,000 Kentucky Summer Grand Prix, sponsored by Audi of Lexington, to be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011. The best jumper riders in the world will gather to compete for the title, and will also have the chance to compete during the $30,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic. This class will be the third event in the Hagyard Challenge Series. The rider who accumulates the most points throughout the seven-class series will be presented with the $45,000 Leading Rider Award.

The Kentucky Summer Classic is a World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) recognized hunter competition. An additional highlight during the Kentucky Summer Classic will be the $50,000 Rood & Riddle Kentucky Grand Prix, scheduled for the evening of Saturday, August 6, 2011, in the Rolex Stadium.

Following the Kentucky Summer Classic will be the 2011 USEF Pony Finals, held from August 9-14, 2011. The event has grown so much that a sixth day was added to the competition last year. The Green Pony Hunters will compete on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the Regular Pony Hunters will compete from Tuesday through Saturday. The Pony Jumpers will once again show Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings, while the Pony Equitation Final will take place on Sunday.
