Pequannock, NJ – Breyer Animal Creations® will present launch its mid-year introductions next week at the specialty toy industry’s premier summer trade show, the ASTRA Marketplace & Academy, June 19-22, 2011, in Anaheim, CA. Breyer, a division of Reeves International, is renowned in both the toy and the equine industry for its realistic and authentic model horses for play and display. Breyer is especially well-known for its “portrait models,” models of real horse champions and legends.

Breyer’s new releases include three new Traditional portrait models, seven books, two activity kits and two new introductions from Breyer’s Elvis Presley® Collection. These great products will available in July at BreyerFest (July 15-17 at the Kentucky Horse Park), on BreyerHorses.com and at Breyer retailers everywhere.

Highlights include:
• Breyer and Macmillan Publishing will launch the final four books of the Wind Dancers Series. This popular 12-book series about four, tiny, fairy-winged horses has been a hit with girls aged 8-12 since it was introduced in 2008. In addition to making the Wind Dancers themselves, Breyer has launched line-extensions featuring the cute, candy-colored quartet who see the world from a decidedly different perspective!
• Two new introductions from the Elvis Presley® collection! Breyer has created a beautiful new musical treasure box depicting the King of Rock ‘n Roll and his horses that features a small model of Rising Sun twirling to the tune GI Blues, as well as a Traditional Breyer figurine of the horse that stole the Elvis’ heart, Bear.
• Three NEW Breyer Portrait Models: Realistic, elegant and fun for play and display, Breyer’s portrait models of equine champions:
o Sato, a brilliant and rare palomino pinto sabino stallion that is dual registered with both The Jockey Club and the American Paint Horse Association. Sato is owned by April Wayenberg of Blazing Colors Farm.
o Prince Jester, a three time World Champion Missouri Fox Trotter has 15 World Grand Champions, six Reserve World Champions and six Futurity/World Champions. Prince Jester is owned by Majestic Foxtrotters, LLC.
o TS Black Tie Affair has won 22 Pinto World and Reserve World Championships and two Pinto All-Around Pleasure High Point titles and
was named the 2010 Arabian Horse Association Ambassador Award. ‘Tie’ is an in-demand performer that can rumba, salute, sit, skip, play keyboards, perform the Spanish walk, and strum a guitar! TS Black Tie Affair is owned by Jan Sharp.
• The latest in the Breyer Horse Collection from Macmillan Publishing is straight from the imagination of acclaimed author Annie Wedekind. Mercury’s Flight is the story of a Lipizzaner stallion – the white stallions that were famously rescued by U.S. Gen. George Patton in WWII - and the Spanish Riding School of Vienna.
• Black Beauty Readers. Also from Macmillan Publishing are the continuing adventures of the world’s most famous horse - Black Beauty – in beautifully illustrated ‘reader format’ that are perfect for children ages 5+.
• The cutest activity sets ever! Two travel-sized, nicely-priced activity kits each featuring four petite horses so kids can create their own dream horse stable!
