Springfield, IL - The 2011 National Show Horse Registry (NSHR) Finals return to Springfield September 22–24 in the Coliseum at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Approximately 200-300 horses from around the country are expected for the show, competing for National titles, prize money, and college scholarships. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

“We invite everyone to come out to enjoy the performances, especially for the Friday and Saturday evening shows, which begin at 6:30 PM.” Riders range in age from 2 years old to age 80, and our DJ keeps you dancing in the seats!

The National Show Horses are a cross between the Arabian and any other breed of horse. They compete in many different divisions, including pleasure, equitation, walk trot, driving, halter, 3- and 5-gaited competitions, a weanling jackpot class, and more. We offer classes for Arabians, National Show Horses, and Show Horse Alliance enrolled horses. Show Horse Alliance is a program where ALL saddle seat breeds compete against each other in many different divisions. You might see Saddlebreds, Friesians, Hackneys, Arabians and National Show Horses all competing in the same class for the big prize. Entries close August 29th, however post entries will be accepted.
