Hampton Falls, NH - The horses are coming! Show jumping fans will flock to see these equine athletes and many of the world's top international riders when the Olympic sport of equestrian show jumping comes to southeastern New Hampshire during the week of September 14-18, 2011.
The Fidelity Investments® Jumper Classic®, presented by Porsche, will be held on the picturesque show grounds of the Silver Oak Equestrian Center in Hampton Falls. The five-day show features a star-studded lineup of Olympic medalists, top professionals and trainers, and some of the most promising young riders in America.

Among the competitors are 2004 and 2008 Olympic team gold medalist McLain Ward whose many recent wins include the Pfizer Million in 2010, the largest prize in the sport; Peter Leone, 1996 Silver Medalist; Leslie Burr Howard, 1984 Gold Medalist and 1996 Silver Medalist; and Kevin Babbington, who rode on the Irish team and took 4th individually in the 2004 Olympics. Top international riders include Kent Farrington, winner of the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic in 2007 and 2009, and the 2010 winner of the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix, Marie Hecart, from France.

The top classes will be held on the five-acre pristine grass Grand Prix field, sponsored by Coldwell Banker Previews, one of the few such fields on the east coast. Beginning with the $12,000 Harvest Group of UBS Financial Services Welcome Stake on Thursday, September 15th, the Anthony D'Ambrosio-designed courses will challenge riders and horses over a series of colorful jumps and obstacles. The $12,000 Millbrook Ventures Speed Derby will utilize the field's spectacular derby bank on Saturday the 17th. Sunday spotlights the $15,000 Equine Insurance Services Speed Stake and culminates in the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix.

An additional 50 classes will be held in two all-weather rings with all-new high performance German Geo textile fiber footing from GGT-FootingTM installed this spring. Course designers Eric Hasbrouck and Nathan Panetta will offer horse and riders some exciting opportunities to test their skills and compete for top honors.

The Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, with over $200,000 in prize money, was ranked one of the top 25 horse shows in the United States by the North American Riders Group (NARG) in 2010. The show, which has been a New England tradition since 1989, is celebrating its fourth year at Silver Oak Equestrian Center with its spacious show grounds and special accommodations for exhibitors.

"We're proud to be known as the riders' show and each year strive to offer our competitors an exceptional experience and a fun, safe event," said Melissa Lovasco, President and CEO of The Jumper Classic. "This year we are pleased to add Show Manager Mike Belisle to our staff, and have a variety of events for the exhibitors to enjoy." The show is a favorite among competitors who appreciate its European atmosphere and convenient location.
