UPHA Congratulates UPHA Ribbons of Service Participants

Lexington, KY - The UPHA and The UPHA Ribbons of Service program wish to congratulate the following participants on their outstanding accomplishments:

Kohlette Weaver – Overall winner of the program with the most funds raised. Thirteen-year-old Kotie is also the American Saddlebred Breed Winner. Together, under the direction of Jimmy and Helen Robertson she and her horse CH Sports Night raised a total of $11,802 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as completing 79 hrs of community service, earning her the following scholarships and prizes:

USA Equestrian Trust’s Overall Winner - $5,000
USA Equestrian Trust’s American Saddlebred Breed Winner - $2,500
Stephens College Overall Winner - $3,000

Jordyn Isgrigg – For the second year in a row, 10 year Jordyn is the youngest participant with the most funds raised. Also under the direction of Jimmy and Helen Robertson, Jordyn and her American Saddlebred Walk & Trot mare CH Olympic Charm raised another $11,485 to add to the $7860 they raised last year for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and completed 143.5 hours of community service, being awarded with the following scholarships.
The Becker Brothers Youngest participant - $2,000
Independent Equine Agents youngest participant - $1,000
Runner Up with the most funds raised - $1,000

Mollie Kregor - Another American Saddlebred participant, Mollie is under the direction of Rob and Sarah Byers, this 17 year old raised $6130 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital riding Red shirt Freshman and Freakness and completed 229 hrs of community service! This the third year Mollie has participated in the program, bringing her total funds raised for St. Jude to well over $10,000! This year Mollie will be awarded scholarships for the most community service hours performed.
The Kenny and Ceil Wheeler Most Hours Served - $1,500
William Woods College- $1,000

Cary Cosgrove – This is the second year Cary has been the Arabian Breed winner. Under the direction of Beverley Shiflet, Carey is also the reining 13&Under Arabian UPHA National champion, She and her horse BA Rise to Fame have raised $4155 for the Gomez-Scoliosis Research program, as well as completing 51.5 hrs of service to her community. Cary will be awarded with the following scholarships and prizes

We are very proud of ALL of our participant’s, together they have raised $49,162.12 and completed 810.5 hrs of community service! UPHA invites all of you to attend the UPHA convention in Nashville TN. where you will be honored at a special luncheon on Saturday January 7th.
