Lexington, KY- The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has posted the Selection Procedure and Application for the 2012 Show Jumping European Young Rider Tour. In addition, to the Young Rider Tour, there will be a Junior Rider Tour for up to two individual Junior Riders.

It is planned that the 2012 Show Jumping European Young and Junior Rider Tour will consist of the following competitions:

CSIOY and CSIOJ Moorsele (FRA): May 10-13, 2012,

CSI - To Be Determined: May 17-20, 2012,

CSIOY and CSIOJ Reims (FRA): May 31-June 3, 2012,

CSIOY and CSIOJ Hagen (GER): June 13-17, 2012.

New this year for Young Rider selection is that one position on the squad will be reserved for the highest placed Young Rider (Young Rider as defined by the FEI) at the conclusion of the 2012 Artisan Farms Under 25 Young Rider Series in Wellington, FL. The remaining positions will be named according to the criteria outlined in the Selection Procedure.

To be considered for selection on the Young Rider Tour, riders must be born on or between January 1, 1991 and December 31, 1996.

To be considered for selection on the Junior Rider Tour, riders must be born on or between January 1, 1994 and December 31, 1998.

The deadline for submitting an application is Monday, March 19, 2012.
