Selection Procedures for the 2012 Olympic Games Now Available

Lexington, KY - The USEF Selection Procedures for the 2012 Olympic Games are approved are now available on the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) website. The 2012 Olympic Games will be held in London, UK July 27-August 12, 2012. The links to the procedures and more information about each discipline is available below:

Dressage

The USEF Selection Trials for Dressage will take place at the Festival of Champions in Gladstone, NJ. This annual event, which hosts USEF National Dressage Championships in six divisions, is a hallmark of the dressage calendar. It will run over two weekends: June 8-10 and 15-17 at the USET Foundation Headquarters.

Eventing

There are four selection trials remaining: the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* presented by Bridgestone (which is also the USEF National CCI4* Eventing Championship), the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials in England, the Jersey Fresh CCI3* and the Saumur CCI3* in France. A final Mandatory Outing will be held at the Barbury Castle CIC3* in the UK June 28-July 1.

Jumping

The USEF National Show Jumping Championship will be held in conjunction with the 2012 USEF Selection Trial for the U.S. Show Jumping Team at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL March 21-24. There will be four Observation Events held between the Selection Trials and the Olympic Games and athletes must contest two of them.More information will be available shortly.
