The United States Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce that Phil’s Ridge Harry Potter has won the inaugural USEF Cup Incentive program for the Morgan division. The program was created to encourage competition participation by providing a $1,000 incentive award to the top point earner in the Morgan division. 2011 saw an excellent field of competition for the program’s first year with over 400 horses participating and a very versatile horse earning the top honors. Phil’s Ridge Harry Potter received points at designated USEF Cup Competitions in carriage pleasure driving classes, dressage classes, and hunter classes all within the Morgan division. Owner Kathryn Clarke of Swainsboro, Georgia will take home the $1,000 incentive award for her efforts.
2012 Season Underway
2012 is another great year to participate in the USEF Cup Inventive program and earn $1000 just by competing! To participate, the owners must be a USEF member and the horses must be life or annually recorded with the USEF. Qualified participants can then earn points at designated USEF Cup Competitions. All classes within the Morgan division, except equitation, will be counted towards this annual award. Designated USEF Cup Competitions for the 2012 season can be found here.
