AHHS Limited Breeders Sweepstakes Grand Event

The American Hackney Horse Society will host the Limited Breeders Sweepstakes Grand Event at Undulata Farm, in Shelbyville, KY on March 3rd, 2012. With clinics, a presentation of  stallions, dinner, auctions and a horsemen’s lounge with entertainment, “grand” may be an understatement.

The highlight of the event may be the stallion presentation before the auction. Eight exciting Hackney studs will be presented, including the featured stallion, Heartland Equality. The 1999, 2000, and 2003 World Grand Champion from Heartland Farm, will be on hand to captivate the crowd. The beautiful and talented Crystal Creek Commander and the charismatic Dun Haven Phenomenal will be presented by Majestic Oaks Farm. Frickey Farms will display the stunning Extremely Fine and handsome stable mate, Benjamin Buttons. Kilbro Farm will exhibit their dynamic stallion, Kilbro’s Image. The Spiderman will be presented by Rodney Hicks, and Jim Spurrier will share his young stallion, Xtremely Impressive. There may be more added to this world caliber line up of stallions.

The day will begin at Undulata farm at 1pm, with a clinic on junior exhibitor and amateur driving by Maureen and Rich Campbell. Later, Vern Houston and Jim Spurrier will share their knowledge on in hand presentation.

Finally, there will be a clinic on preparation of the three year old for performance, with the professional perspective by Rodney Hicks and the amateur perspective by Vern Houston.

Home tours of the beautiful mansion at Undulata Farm will be available following the clinics, before the Stallion Presentation at approximately 4:30pm. Dinner and the Limited Breeders auction will follow. Over forty top stallions are available to bid on for this incredible program.
