Sally Glassman bested a field of twelve to claim the $10,000 Mid Atlantic Farm Credit Quentin Riding Club Fall Horse Show Mini Prix Sunday evening, September 4. Held in the historic Main Ring at the Quentin Riding Club, Glassman and the mare, Ginger Watt, cruised home clear in 25.407 seconds. The Kindle Hill Farm of Gwynedd Valley, PA, owns Ginger Watt. For the win, Glassman received the winner’s check of $2,500 and an engraved glass ice bucket as a keeper for the “Heaven Sent” Memorial Mini Prix Trophy dedicated by Carl and Claire Khuen.

The Mini Prix was just one of many feature events held at the 71st Annual Quentin Riding Club Fall Horse Show held over the Labor Day Weekend. Central Pennsylvania Junior Horse Show Association hosted their annual H & H Tack Shop and Josey Mohler Equitation Finals in the second hunter ring on Sunday. Anna Foltzer of Lewisburg, PA, won the H & H Tack Shop Final riding her pony, Hillcrest Lionheart. Foltzer is trained by Farra Phillips-Hillyard of Lewisburg, PA.

Kelsey Delaplaine of Gettysburg, PA, won the Josey Mohler Finals. Delaplaine rides with Lewisberry, PA, resident Jill Shull and rode her horse, Mirabella, to the win. Both winners and trainers received various awards, such as medals, custom saddle racks, leather goods, flowers, picnic baskets and vouchers to the Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS).

Kaitlin Campbell of Doylestown, PA, enjoyed the limelight in the Winner’s Circle, too. For her first outing on a Junior Hunter, Campbell was crowned Best Child Rider on a Junior Hunter, won the Grand Junior Hunter Award and also tied for the Overall Grand Hunter Title. Campbell rode Last Laugh to five wins in the Small Junior Hunters. It was her first time showing 3’6” and also the first time she showed Last Laugh. Co-Grand Champion Hunter Brighton, ridden by Kim Zindel, won all five of his Green Conformation Hunter classes to share the honor. Brighton also competed in the Adult Hunter Division and won the Reserve Champion Title with his owner Felicia Weiss of Villanova, PA.

Additional Best Child Rider Awards went to Rachel Roter (Pony), Delaplaine (Children’s Hunter) and Olivia Thompson (Children’s Pony). Additional Grand Hunter Awards went to Lennox and Sandra Brown (Amateur Owner); Arizona Bay and Katelyn Sites (Adult Hunter); Mirabella and Delaplaine (Children’s Hunter); Mapleside Magic Dancer and Rachel Roter (Pony) and Wayward Wind and Margaret Oberkircher (Children’s Pony).

In the Main Ring, Maizey Toltein and Ericka Schaefer won the $3,000 NAL/WIHS Adult Jumper Classic and Clover Girl and Janice Syphers won the $1,500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic. The $5,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame JR/AO Classic win went to Cowboy and Melissa Rudershausen. Additional results can be found on www.horseshowsonline.com.
