Wellington, FL - The $120,000 5* West Palm Beach, presented by Diamante Farms, has finally arrived! This prestigious dressage competition takes place March 29-30 at the Stadium show grounds of the Global Dressage Festival (GDF) in Wellington, FL and features the only CDI5* in North America this year. One of the highlights is the $84,000 FEI Grand Prix Freestyle "Under the Lights" with exciting pre-competition entertainment.

The 5* West Palm Beach begins Wednesday with the Horse Inspection at 4:00 PM in the International warm-up arena. The first class for the 5* is the FEI Grand Prix and takes place on Thursday at 9:00 AM. On Friday morning the FEI Olympic Grand Prix Special also starts at 9:00 AM.

The CDI5* concludes with the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle class on Friday evening. A spectator favorite, the Freestyle showcases horses "dancing" to the music while performing intricate dressage movements. Festivities begin at 7:30 with a spectacular ceremony by Ukiproduction that will feature a DJ, a laser show and "silk dancers!"

Admission, stadium seating, and general parking are all free. Valet parking is available for a fee. For a VIP experience, spectators can reserve a table in the Global Pavilion. A reserved table for 6 guests is $1,500. On Friday night only, a limited number of tickets are available at $150 per seat. Pavilion guests will be treated to a breakfast and lunch buffet with an open bar and on Friday night dinner will also be served. To make reservations, please call Annette Goyette at 561-784-1120. The Global Dressage Festival will also include a National Horse Show on March 30- April 1. Classes range from the USDF Training Level up through the national Grand Prix level.
