"It was amazing! It felt like one of the best tests I have ever done with him," said Losos de Muniz. "It was so smooth and he was with me the whole way. I have not had such a good ride with him in a long time. It was so much fun. It was no work, so it was nice."

Losos de Muniz rode the Freestyle in preparation for the $35,000 WEF Wellington Dressage Nations Cup CDIO3,* which takes place April 13-14, at the Global Dressage Festival. She will be on a team with Marco Bernal of Colombia and Alejandro Gomez of Venezuela.

"I am riding with two other riders in the CDIO, so I wanted to practice," said Losos de Muniz. "I wanted to make sure I would be there for the team. After the test today I think we're ready."

Losos de Muniz has had owned Dondolo Las Marismas since he was three-years-old and was his sole trainer for the last nine years. "He is one of the best horses that I have ever owned and trained," she said of the 12-year-old Danish Warmblood.

Losos de Muniz first came to Wellington twelve years ago as a jumper rider. For a while she rode both jumpers and dressage then rode dressage exclusively the last four years. She will be heading off to Europe in hopes of qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Games in London on Liebling II.

The West Palm Beach National Show culminates on Sunday, April 1, with the first class starting at 8:00 AM.
