Another Update from Kronberg

by Isabelle Leibler | Dec 3, 2011, 5:51 PM

I think we are very close to experiencing some snow. It has been quite cold with some rain, and with a few degrees lower, it could easily be a White Christmas! Today was a really simple day. Light work and some frequent power walks throughout the day. We will begin with full training again on Monday, and my hope is that we can slowly peak from there. We will let Watson tell us when he is ready.

While I was handwalking today, I got to see something quite special. Klaus Martin Rath was exercising Sterntaler Unicef, Matthias' WEG horse. It was really cool and the horse looked so fit and in top form. I also got to see Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff school one of her daugther's ponies before a small competition. The pony had a really shiny black coat and some small white markings, so of course with his amazing movement he looked like a mini Totilas! Sunday is a day of rest at the Schafhof, so I am really looking forward to seeing some more action in the riding hall on Monday. Everything at Schafhof is absolutely incredible.

Attached here is a picture of Watson and I in the riding hall at night. Notice the ski cap and snow boots... I am so prepared!
