T-7 days! It is exactly one week from when we will be loading up the trailer and heading to Kentucky. This past week has been a blur, and I'm sure this upcoming week will be one as well.
 

Florence and I have proceeded to get more of our jog outfits figured out....although they're not quite completed yet. Special thanks to Sheryl Rudolph and FITS for some fantastic shirts, and to my mom who has been running around trying to find things to wear and texting me pictures to see if things would work. I am pretty limited in Southern Pines with shopping and haven't been able to find any time to sneak up to Raleigh to go to a real mall.
 

Devon has been sticking to his strict program of what he’s doing every day and I am trying to carry over what I need to work on with him to how I am riding my other horses. We had a great flat lesson on Monday where we started to dissect the dressage test and work on the movements. Devon is so well trained I have to be very aware of my body positions because with even the slightest movement, he cues in.

 
 

He is galloping tomorrow with a little more bit than I’ve used before…..I got a bit of a workout last time. He will have a hack/trot day on Wednesday and we flat again on Thursday and jump on Friday. Hopefully things will continue to be going the way they have been and everybody stays feeling well!
