Refreshment

Ravel rocked last night. Plain and simple.

It was the best I have ever seen him go and I have been lucky to see him go really well quite a few times.

Steffen agreed today when I saw him, he said he felt it and was really excited about the work he was doing last night, but when he arrived here and Anne Gribbons saw him, he was convinced. The horse somehow keeps getting better.

After the class last night I went to Del Ray Beach where I am staying with some friends and I got to catch up with a bunch of friends from the racetrack that I never get to see. We had dinner and drinks and laughed and laughed.

I came up to Wellington to meet with a few people at the horse show. I ran into Laura Kraut who was getting to ready to jump Cedric in the 1.45m class after they had to cancel her intended class last night due to the weather. All the big jumping guns are prepping for the $200,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier tomorrow night, and everyone is playing their cards carefully.

It was very good to catch up with a few people, but then it was back to dressage land.

Keep in mind I have had a coat and scarf on all day and now it is 9 PM and I wish I had more clothes. When the weather blew through it took the hot weather with it.

It is now refreshing in Florida.
