Brandywine Valley Summer Series Prize List Now Available Online

Devon, PA - The Brandywine Valley Summer Series horse shows presented by Taylor Harris Insurance Services (THIS) is pleased to announce that the hunter/jumper competition's prize list is currently available online. The prize list and entry blanks are posted at www.brandywinevalleysummerseries.com. Entries for the Brandywine Valley Summer Series close on June 1, 2012.

Held at the prestigious Devon Show Grounds, the Brandywine Valley Summer Series presented by THIS will be a summer highlight, held June 27-July 1, 2012 and July 4-July 8, 2012, with a local day of competition on Monday, July 9, 2012. The event features a full array of hunter/jumper events for horses and riders.

The highlight events will include the Johnson Horse Transportation $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby held on Sunday, July 1, during the first week of competition and the Get Real Get RAW $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby held on Saturday, July 7, during the second week of the horse show, which is also a WCHR member event.

The hunter divisions at the Brandywine Valley Summer Series offer over $100,000 in prize money over the two weeks, and will range from the professional hunters to the pony hunters. This year's divisions include the $5,000 Green Working Hunters, the $3,500 High Performance Hunters, the $2,500 Regular Conformation Hunters, the $1,000 Performance 3'3" Hunters, the $1,900 Performance 3'6" Hunters, the $5,500 Amateur Owner Hunters, the $6,000 Junior Hunters, the $4,500 Pony Hunters, the $2,000 Children's Hunters, the $1,500 Adult Amateur Hunters, and new for 2012, the $1,500 Small Hunters.

The show will also feature a $1,000 Pony Hunter Classic, $1,000 Pre-Green Hunter Classic, $1,000 PHSA Hunter Classic, $500 M&S Children's Hunter Classic and $500 NALWIHS Hunter Classic each week. In addition, junior riders will have the chance to compete in the WIHS Jumper and Hunter phase, the USEF Talent Search, the ASPCA Maclay, and the USEF Medal.

With over $50,000 in prize money over the two weeks, the jumper classes at the Brandywine Valley Summer Series presented by THIS will also feature highlight events for all levels. There will be Open Jumper divisions, as well as Junior/Amateur Owners Jumpers, and Children's/Adults Jumpers. Riders will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in the $5,000 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic and a $3,500 Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic each week.
