Each year, 10 percent of the net from each year's AMHA Stallion Service Auction is available for the AMHA grant program for financially challenged USEF Morgan competitions.

This year, nine shows applied for the grant and five were selected. The following shows are recipients of $639.50 in grant monies for their 2012 shows: Far West Morgan Horse Show, Key Classic Benefit Morgan Horse Show, Western New York Morgan Horse Show, North Star Morgan Americana, and Citrus Cup Regional.

For a show to be considered for an AMHA show grant, requirements must be met and applications received in the AMHA office before January 31 each year. For more information on the AMHA Grant Program, contact AMHA at (802) 985-4944.
