Birdsall Wins the 2004 USEF Pony Medal Championship

Victoria Birdsall, 11, of Topsfield, MA, was named Grand Champion of the 2004 USEF Pony Medal Championship held August 5 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA. The Championship was held as part of the USEF Pony Finals being held August 4-7. As Grand Champion, Birdsall received the Easter Sunday Memorial Perpetual Trophy, a Triple Crown Custom cooler and a tack trunk donated by Oakcroft Tack Trunk. The trainer of the 2004 Pony Medal Champion is Patty Harnois.

Judges for the Pony Medal were Karen Healey of Thousand Oaks, CA and John Roper of Franklin, TN.

Competitors qualify to compete in this event by winning a blue ribbon or by accumulating 30 points in a USEF Pony Medal Class at a USEF-sanctioned competition between July 2, 2003, and July 1, 2004.
